Technical Sales Person (Tractors)
 



Job Purpose: The incumbent will be involved in developing sales strategies and campaigns to promote and sell agricultural tractors. 



The main objective is to create a good appeal of Company’s tractors as reliable products and the image of the company to all stakeholders.

Reports to: Sales Manager


Tasks and Responsibilities:



  • Achieve set sales targets

  • Evaluate the demand for tractors, as well as their competitors’ and use this information to find markets for the company.

  • Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, construction companies, suppliers and partner organizations.

  • Conducting market research through customer questionnaires and focus groups, analyzing and investigating price, demand and competition.

  • Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press – local, regional, national and specialist publications – or on the radio about the company’s tractors.

  • Devising, Contributing and developing sales plans and strategies/ideas on how to increase and improve on the sales.

  • Organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions aimed and promoting tractors sales.

  • Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships maintaining and updating customer databases.

  • Plan and organize promotional activities and evaluate marketing campaigns.

  • Monitoring competitor activity and company’s performance on the product.

  • Communicating relevant information to the management on how to improve the tractor sales.

  • Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Minimum diploma in Automotive Engineering

  • A strong understanding of tractors and the general market.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to sell.

  • Strong writing skills.

  • Some basic design skills.

  • An Energetic person.

  • A team leader and player.

  • Adaptability.

  • A creative Person.

  • Commercial awareness.

  • Good numerical skills.

  • He must be proactive person.
