Introduction: Cytonn Investments is the leading alternative investment manager in the region with over Kshs. 50 billion of projects under mandate.
 

We are seeking highly motivated, self-directed, team players to fill the position of public relations, marketing and communication intern. 

The position will afford successful individuals a unique opportunity to participate in both a strong incentive structure and equity ownership plan.
 

 

Key Areas of Learning

• Assisting in the development of brand strategies and executing brand plan.


• Overseeing the production of TV adverts, newspaper and magazine advertisements, direct mail packs, email campaigns, websites, exhibition stands, road shows and liaising with art designers, copywriters, media buyers and printers.


• Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.


• Participation in the brand building efforts of the company.


• Event management


• Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc.) to manage social media reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.


• Take primary responsibility for maintaining an internal and external CSR initiatives


• Promote and boost internal communications efforts.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Bachelor’s Degree, First Class or Upper Second (achieved or expected)


• Minimum of a B+ in KCSE


• Professional attitude


• Good social media knowledge and active social media presence


• Ability to work in a team


• Ready to take on challenges


• Demonstrated leadership capability


• Innovative and solution oriented individuals


• Ability to multitask and balance tasks


• Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills


• High levels of energy and enthusiasm and ability to work long hours and under pressure
