client, a well-known company in the logistics industry in Kenya is looking for
an energetic, results-oriented individual who lives in Mombasa, Kenya for the
following position:
Duties
and Responsibilities
The
job holder shall contribute to the overall planning and execution of the Human
Resources strategy, with a prime focus on the following:
- Assisting
in Recruitment and orientation of new employees - Assisting
in Performance Management and Training and Development - Assisting
in Leave and Attendance Management and taking of minutes during meetings - Assisting
with HR records management, preparation of proposals & development of
presentations - Assisting
with the implementation of Change Management and Talent Management
initiatives - Assisting
with employment law compliance and the implementation of HR Policies - Assisting
in population of systems and online department documents - Assisting
in tracking and management of Staff Contracts - Assisting
in Employee Engagement activities and Discipline Management - Assisting
in the calculation of HR ratios and preparation of HR Reports - Assisting
in handling internal client requests up to conclusion and with research
and trend analysis - Collaborating
closely with the various functional units and departments in the Company
to ensure that business objectives are achieved, and managing internal and
external client relations - Any
other duties that may be allocated from time to time
- Must
be currently living in Mombasa, Kenya - Business
degree from a recognized university (degree in Human Resources is
preferred) - Higher
Diploma in Human Resource Management - Advanced
proficiencies in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. - At
least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar capacity is a must
