Pre-Sales Engineer / Customer Support Engineer Job in Nairobi, Kenya

A  leading Provider of Business Enabling Solutions in the field of AIDC using bar-coding, RFID, GPS and biometric based technologies in the Middle East region is seeking to recruit a Pre-Sales Engineer / Customer Support Engineer to be based in Nairobi, Kenya. 

It is highly desirable that the candidate has a bar-coding, RFID & mobility / mobile applications background. Software solutions background, especially with development skills of ASP.NET & C# is key.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing customer solution in the sales cycle, based on understanding customer needs and aligning those needs with the spectrum of product offerings.


• Shall support the sales team with the required product information, communicate sales strategies effectively and support sales team in the entire liaison required.


• Work with product management and marketing to help define / refine sales messages and ensure sales packages are developed and messages communicated to the sales team.


• Work with sales personnel to provide product, business and technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Auto-Id industry or mainstream IT solutions or telecom or networking or software sales experience especially in large account management.


• 2-8 yrs experience in solution sales.


• A valid driving license & a car are preferred.


• Good communication skills (oral & written)


• Software engineer with technical skills and presentation skills of software solutions of any kind.


• Experience in data capture & mobility industry would be an added advantage.


• PC/networking trouble shooting capabilities.

Monthly gross salary: Competitive depending on experience
