Senior Structural Engineer Job in Kenya

Our client, a structural steel company that specialises in design, fabrication and erection of structural steelwork, is looking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer. 

Salary: Kshs 70,000 – 250,000

The job description is as follows:

• Bachelors or Masters in Civil or Structural Engineering. NOT mechanical engineering


• 10-12 years’ experience


• Bsc (Civil) or Msc


• Design in structural steel work using Etabs, Staad pro,  Prokon, Oasys


• FEA analysis method of calculation


• Understand process involved in the design and fabrication of steelwork


• Understand steel fabrication drawings


• Experience in design of commercial/ residential/ industrial buildings/ high rise buildings


• High rise and mulit storey buildings


• NOT WATER AND SANITATION / ROADS


• RCC, many be ok, but needs to have steel experience


• Understand AutoCAD


• BIM modelling
