Position Title: National Project Coordinator
Level: SB4 – Local professional (Junior & Mid-Level).
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Duration: 12 Months
Closing Date: 20 May 2016
Main Functions: Under the directive supervision of the Project Manager (PM) in HQ, Vienna and the
overall guidance of the UNIDO Representative (UR) in Kenya, the NPC will manage the day-to-day affairs of the PMU and take full responsibility of outputs of the project activities.
He or She will follow up on all STC decisions and liaise with all relevant stakeholders in Kenya in accordance with UNIDO rules and regulations.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelors’ degree in engineering / Management / Economics, with Masters in renewable energy / Energy or Project Management or any other relevant development related subjects.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience mainly in project / programme management (project planning, development, execution, monitoring and evaluation) of development projects in the area of Sustainable Energy.
- Previous Experience with UN or other international development organizations will be an added advantage; Substantive knowledge of energy development issues in Kenya.

Position is only limited to Nationals/or permanent residents of the Country of the duty station.
