ICT Officer Job Responsibilities
Strategy,policies and procedures:
- Working with ICT Manager, to provide key IT support within the ICT department and to all our users throughout the company.
- Assist in developing, communicating and implementing organizational ICT policies and procedures in accordance with the ICT strategy, organizational direction, ICT legislation and best practice
- Keep abreast of technology trends and discern which offer solid, appropriate, cost-‐ effective ICT solutions to the organization
Network maintenance and operation:
- Ensure the efficient, secure and effective operation and performance of the organizations’ network in the head office and all clients where technically possible
- Ensure that an adequate plan for disaster recovery and carrying out back-‐ups of the organization data is maintained and has been effectively implementedProvide MS Office, ERP and other internal IT and external system support
- Provide inductions to all new staff on the computer systems of the organization relevant to their role, including the use of all relevant software packages.
- Provide inductions to relevant staff as and when new software/hardware that is introduced
