CCCD Project Officer
(3 Posts, Matuu, Mavindini and Tamu)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure timely, accurate, complete and consistent correspondences between
children in the project and their foster parents; - Design tools to monitor and keep proper record of children
under supervision in the project; - Ensure that the SHGs approach is integrated
in children related activities; - Develop capacity and facilitate SHG committees
and Child Monitors to effectively address children development priorities and activities and rights; - Coordinate children activities for CAM children and all
children including children with special needs and groups using the Rights Based Approach. - Facilitate children to
identify, assess, and analyze viable activities geared towards self-reliance and enjoyment of children rights; - Make regular child visits within the project area to
ascertain how project inputs are being utilized and advise accordingly; - Organize and carry out field research involving data
collection, and data preparations for statistical analysis on this sector’s operations, activities, and related issues,
facilitate monitoring and assessment of project activity impact on beneficiaries and communities and make recommendation for
appropriate action.
Person Specification
- Diploma in social work or community
development or other relevant field; - At least 3 years of experience in Case
Management and Community Development; - Excellent oral and written
Communication skills in both English and Swahili; - Proficiency in Microsoft
Office applications (Word-processing, e-mail, Excel).
