Position: Marketing Associate

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

We are a talent development and Human Resource support firm based in Nairobi Kenya, but working throughout East Africa to support fast growing organizations as they expand across Africa. 

We are looking for a passionate Marketing Associate to create new business relationships for the Spire brand and to engage with Spire audiences on or offline.

 

About You

• 2 + years of marketing experience in client focused relationship building and management 


• Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite software, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop


• Brand management experience including creating brand guidelines, interior design advisory, choosing complementary colors and fonts


• Detail oriented with a keen eye, especially for copy editing


• Demonstrable social media management experience with provable campaign successes 


• Experience in hosting and covering events


• Photography and videography experience preferred but not a must

About The Job: This role will be crucial as we grow and the right candidate will have the opportunity to grow with us. 

The most important responsibilities will include:

• Online Lead Generation: You will be required to create, budget and run online marketing campaigns with the aim of securing new leads for Spire.


• Referral Lead Generation: You will be required to create and market testimonials and secure referrals from existing Spire clients and other partners to market Spire.


• Lead Generation Through Event Attendance & Hosting: You will be required to organize events for Spire, bringing together industry leaders from various fields in line with Spire goals for lead generation. You will also be required to attend relevant industry events and generate leads while building new relationships for the organization.


• Coordinate Brand Awareness: Ensure all internal team members are communicating the Spire brand in line with lead generation needs. This includes organizing product education sessions, ensuring team members have business cards and organizing for any promotional needs as may be required.
