Position: Assistant Human Resource Manager
 


Location: Nairobi
 


Nature of Job: Full time
 


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, training and development, payroll management and time and attendance.

  • Provides job candidates by screening, interviewing, and testing applicants; notifying existing staff of internal opportunities; maintaining personnel records; obtaining temporary staff from agencies

  • Reviewing company policies

  • Welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientation

  • Providing payroll information by collecting time and attendance records

  • Submitting employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data

  • Maintaining employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data

  • Maintaining employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential

  • Maintaining quality service by following organization standard

  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed


Key Requirements and Skills

  • Degree in Human Resource Management

  • Higher Diploma in Human resource management will be an added advantage

  • 3-5 years’ experience

  • Good communication skills

  • Good reporting skills

  • Confidentiality

  • Teamwork

  • Ability to work with a payroll system

  • Experience in time and attendance system
