Position: Assistant Human Resource Manager
Location: Nairobi
Nature of Job: Full time
Duties and Responsibilities
- Experience in employee relations, performance management, training and development, payroll management and time and attendance.
- Provides job candidates by screening, interviewing, and testing applicants; notifying existing staff of internal opportunities; maintaining personnel records; obtaining temporary staff from agencies
- Reviewing company policies
- Welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientation
- Providing payroll information by collecting time and attendance records
- Submitting employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data
- Maintaining employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data
- Maintaining employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential
- Maintaining quality service by following organization standard
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Key Requirements and Skills
- Degree in Human Resource Management
- Higher Diploma in Human resource management will be an added advantage
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Good communication skills
- Good reporting skills
- Confidentiality
- Teamwork
- Ability to work with a payroll system
- Experience in time and attendance system
