Server Administrator for eCommerce Website
 

Job Description

• Optimize website for best performance


• Configure our server for disaster recovery and implement safeguards.


• Maintain change logs.


• Troubleshoot and fix bugs.


• Create testing frameworks and conduct your own stringent testing and quality control on your work.


• Ensure accurate, timely reporting of issues and bugs.


• Monitor server performance/health


• Conduct daily (or as required) maintenance as directed


• Monitor website performance conduct cache clearing, re-indexing as required

Skills Required

• Server admin experience within Linux, MySQL and Apache environments


• PHP/ MySQL development


• Good Knowledge/Experience in Amazon and any other Cloud Web Services


• Previous experience working on quality Magento or other CMS websites


• Ability to work at command line level.


• Experience in and sound knowledge of technologies such as Javascript, Ajax, CSS.

Qualifications

• Must be a Christian and a strong believer


• Positive attitude and humble


• Have a a great passion for technology


• Relevant qualifications in any I.T field

Working hours:

• 8am to 5pm: Monday to Friday


• 9am to 1pm: Saturday
