Vacancies for Quantity Surveyors

Our client, an engineering & construction company in Nairobi is looking to recruit a highly qualified and motivated individual to fill the positions of Quantity Surveyors:

Requirements:

• Diploma or HND / Degree in Building Economics, Civil Engineering or related field.


• Post graduate qualifications in Project Management shall be added advantage


• Possess a minimum 7 years post-graduate experience in construction projects.


• Good working knowledge of computer based construction management and contract administration software like MS Projects and MS Office proficiency


• Sound knowledge in preparation of tenders and Bills of Quantities.


• Sound financial planning and cost control abilities


• Technical competence to advice on all engineering / project matters


• Good oral and written communication skills including ability to effectively undertake site meetings and represent the company in client meetings


• High and unquestionable integrity 


• Ability to deliver under pressure
