National Crime Research Centre (NCRC) with the overriding objective of carrying out research into the causes of crime and its prevention and to disseminate research findings to Government Agencies charged with administration of criminal justice with a view to assisting them in their policy formulation and planning. The mandate is to carry out research into the causes of crime and its prevention and to disseminate the research findings and recommendations to the Government Agencies concerned with the administration of criminal justice and other stakeholders. To provide quality and authentic research into causes of crime and its prevention with a view to achieving a crime free society.

Position: Support Staff I – NCRC 11 – 2 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities
This shall entail;
- General cleaning duties
- Collection and dispatching of mails;
- Loading and offloading office materials
- Delivery of files to action officers
Requirements for Appointment (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Level of Education/Academic Qualifications
- A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education – K.C.S.E with a minimum grade of D+ plus
- For appointment to this grade, one must have:
- Served for minimum period of three (3) years as Support Staff NCRC 12 or its equivalent.
- Terms and Conditions of Service
- The Centre will offer Competitive package in line with the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) guidelines.
- Basic Salary and Allowances – as per the NCRC policy guidelines
- Other benefits – Comprehensive Medical Cover, Group Personal Accident and Group life cover.
N/B: All positions advertised are on Permanent and Pensionable terms except the Deputy Director who shall serve for a Contract term of three (3) years renewable.
