Vocational & Technical Trainer Job, Current Teaching Kenyan Job Vacancies 2023, 

Applications are invited from qualified Degree, Higher National Diploma and Diploma holders for the positions of Vocational and Technical Trainers.

VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL TRAINER (MECHANICAL/AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING)

Basic Salary Scale:            Ksh. 38,270 – 49,950 pm          

CSG 10/JOB GROUP “K”

House Allowance:            As per prevailing civil servant rates

Commuter Allowance:      Ksh. 6,000 pm

Annual Leave Allowance: Ksh. 5,000 p.a

Leave Entitlement:           30 working days p.a

Terms of Service:            Permanent and Pensionable

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

• a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Production/Plant), Automotive, Agricultural Engineering, Medical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Gas and Petroleum Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and


• been registered by the relevant professional body (where applicable)

Note: Pedagogy and Practical experience in the relevant niche area will be an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities

• undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus;


• preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work;


• setting and marking examination/assignment;


• carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer; and


• supervising trainees’ projects and practical work
