Duties and
Responsibilities
- Implement environmental management plans.
- Participate in environmental audits and following up
implementation of the recommendations. - Maintain register on compliance to environmental legislations.
- Propose corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
- Comply with occupational health and safety programs.
- Inspect waste generation and disposal.
- Comply with the county’s environment management policy.
Requirements for
appointment
For appointment
to this grade a candidate must:
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Have Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: –
Environmental Studies, Natural Resource Management or equivalent
qualification from a recognized institution. - Have Certificate in computer application skills.
- Membership to Environmental Institute of Kenya or relevant
professional body will be an added advantage. - Terms of service: Permanent and Pensionable
