Environmental Management Officer II, JG “K” – 4 Positions 

Duties and
Responsibilities

• Implement environmental management plans.


• Participate in environmental audits and following up
  implementation of the recommendations.


• Maintain register on compliance to environmental legislations.


• Propose corrective actions and follow up on implementation.


• Comply with occupational health and safety programs.


• Inspect waste generation and disposal.


• Comply with the county’s environment management policy.

Requirements for
appointment

For appointment
to this grade a candidate must:

• Be a Kenyan citizen


• Have Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: –
  Environmental Studies, Natural Resource Management or equivalent
  qualification from a recognized institution.


• Have Certificate in computer application skills.


• Membership to Environmental Institute of Kenya or relevant
  professional body will be an added advantage.


• Terms of service: Permanent and Pensionable
