Job description: We are currently seeking an experienced journalist to join our dynamic team. As a journalist with a Christian Background, you will have the unique opportunity to explore and report on stories that align with our mission. Your work will cover a range of topics, including faith, spirituality, community engagement, social issues, and human interest stories.

Responsibilities


  • Conduct in-depth research and interviews to develop engaging and accurate news articles.

  • Write compelling stories with a focus on Christian values and principles.

  • Investigate and report on relevant local, national and international news stories from a Christian perspective.

  • Collaborate with our editorial team to ensure high-quality content and adherence to our publication’s guidelines.

  • Stay up-to-date with current events, trends and developments within the Christian community.

Qualifications


  • Proven experience as a journalist, with a strong portfolio showcasing your writing skills.

  • Deep understanding and knowledge of Christian values and teachings.

  • Excellent research and interviewing skills.

  • Strong storytelling abilities, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with journalistic ethics and standards.
