Job Title: Category Demand & Supply Planner

Direct Report to: Head of Demand & Supply Planning

Main Purpose of the Job

To provide an integrated set of demand and supply planning processes which will satisfy the customer service requirements derived from final demand plans, while optimising the total logistics cost and resources of the company for import/export and domestic in the assigned product categories. To assist Business unit for all Supply Chain related areas

Main Responsibilities

Ensure high quality demand and supply projection and reliability for short (4 weeks), medium (1-4 months) and long terms (5-18 months).Actively participate in Sales and Marketing Meeting on past month performance and future demand and supply situation outlookEnsure effectiveness of Monthly Forecast Review Meeting (MFR) with Marketing & Sales to agree upon the consensus demand planEnsure effectiveness of monthly Production Review Meeting (MPR) with manufacturing, Purchasing and Marketing to review the future production plan and concerned issuesReview Demand & Supply planning KPLs, take corrective actions for improvementEnsure a high level of production achievement and optimum stock cover within company objectives; minimise stock shortage and write-offEnsure timely reporting for Zone SCM and key meetings (ROR, MOR, MFR, MPR, etc)Conduct MGR and analyse gaps between Operational Plan (OPL) and Demand Plan at business unit level. Raise the gaps of major product category to the top management for further corrective actionsWork with Marketing & Sales and Management Accounting to prepare Operational Plan (OPL) at product category and SKU levelsMonitor Master Production Schedule (MPS) performance and import arrival plan to ensure product availability for domestic sales and export markets while keeping stock at optimum or agreed level. Provide support and consultation on supply management related to Middle East Market and otherUpdate Marketing & Sales, receiving country and Customer Service on supply situation and suggest availability of supply land identify bottlenecks for Marketing & Sales awareness.Co-ordinate with Zone SCM in order to analyse the supply outlook and provide information or suggestion for Zone AOA operational decisionsEnsure finished goods stock at correct dispatch locationEnsure strict implementation of Best Practices related to Demand and Supply Planning/IMPSEnsure effectiveness of monthly MOR (Monthly Operation Review) and highlight exceptions to take strategic decisionMaster’s degree in related field in demand and supply management, other SC functions (IMS, CS & D) or marketing and sales, Engineering, Advanced English level.Statistics, planning software, project management, Demand and Supply best practices, IMS best practices, strong analytical skills, persuasive, strong communication and presentation skills, strategic and forward thinking, conflict management, leadership skills, facilitation skills, decision-making skills, stress management, problem-solving skills, interactive management, coaching skills, proactive, sales and marketing knowledge, SAP, APO, BW and R3, manufacturing and import/export knowledge, supply chain KPI and tools knowledgeTo apply for this position send your CV to mycv@myjobseye.com quoting the position in the subject line.
