Nutrition Officer Job in Kajiado - Welthungerhilfe/German Agro Action

Welthungerhilfe/German Agro Action is an international organization operating in
various districts in Kenya and is currently implementing a General Food Distribution
and Supplementary Feeding Programme in the WFP Protracted Relief and Recovery
Operations (PRRO) in Kajiado. We are looking for a suitable qualified Nutrition
Officer to be based in our Kajiado field office.

To qualify for this position the candidate should poses the following:-

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Public HealthExperience in emergency nutrition and familiarity with latest developments in nutrition preferably experience gained in ASAL districtsExperience with nutrition data collection and analysis as well as reporting skillsRelevant practical experience in community based nutrition programsExcellent communication skills in English, Kiswahili and local language (Masaai)Ability to design and deliver training activities in the nutrition sectorBe computer literateBe ambitious, honest, and self-motivatedBe a team player, flexible and supporting high work pressure loadsHave a minimum of 2 years of post qualification experience in a similar positionBe willing to live and work in remote areas and with local communitiesWomen are especially encouraged to apply.
