Pabari Enterprises Chief Accountant Job Vacancy in Kisumu

Applications are invited for the position of Chief Accountant at Pabari Enterprises Ltd in Kisumu City, a leading Building and Hardware suppliers in Mid West and Western Kenya.

The Job reports to the Managing Director.

Overall purpose of the Job:

To provide effective operational financial planning, monitoring, accounting and weekly reportingTo institute and ensure effective internal control proceduresTo actively participate in debt collection, customer care /handling and satisfactionFinancial Accounting and reporting of companies activitiesEstablish new operational control proceduresProduction of statutory accountsPoint of contact responsibilities with external auditorsConsolidation of Group AccountsInvolvement in Tax PlanningFinancial planning budgeting and forecasting.Generation of accounting reports and promotion of modern accounting operations based on Sage/pastel and of critical importance is understanding of Talley 9.0 system or willingness to learn and adopt it.To head and manage the Company's Finance & Accounts Department.Degree from a recognised University, preferably in FinanceA recognized professional accounting qualification as a member of CPA(K) and/or ACA or ACCA.Having worked with Telly 9.0 software Accounting package.Minimum 2 years experience in senior financial management position.Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work flexibly, under pressure and to meet demanding deadlines
