Manager - Mobile Communications

Reporting to: Senior Manager – Mobile Communications

Grade: G2 or G3

Working Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Salary Range: Best in the Industry (negotiable for right Candidate) + Performance Incentive +Annual Benefits

Reporting to the MC Manager, this person will be responsible for managing the operations for Mobile Communications in Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

Develop national sales strategy, marketing plan, product classification and pricing, supply chain integration;Manage sales revenue, market expenditure and profit management by use of appropriate tools and techniques;Build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders and customers;Manage account performance to measure the performance to ascertain performance level, identify issues and growth opportunities;Develop sustainable business strategy for the region;Ensure maximization of LG Mobile presence through extensive marketing campaigns and merchandising activities;Key account management through periodical meetings with partners (operator and distributor).At least 3-5 years in marketing with 2-3 years of experience in Mobile communication and management levelBachelor Degree in Sales and Marketing and membership of a relevant Professional BodyComprehensive sales and marketing experience at a senior level is compulsoryMarket analysis knowledge and experienceStrategy formulationAbility to work in a multicultural environmentOther General Skills and Competencies
Demonstrate competency in both oral and written communication for internal and external communication at all levels, especially in customer support product training program deliveryExcellent communication skills both written and verbal; excellent organizational and multitasking skills; ability to work under time constraints and deadlines in challenging settings; ability to work in multicultural, multi-ethnic environmentsDemonstrated ability to identify, approach, and coordinate with stakeholders of diverse background and levels of expertiseAbility to work independently and in a team environment, with flexibility in order to achieve both personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time framesAbility to handle multiple priorities and manage a variety of resources according to a detailed planAbility to travel up to 50% primarily throughout Kenya; some international travel may be requestedRemuneration:
