SDV Transami is looking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated and arti
culate individual in our Nairobi office as a QHSE co-ordinator. The Quality and HSE Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Quality, Health & Safety, and environmental systems. He/She provides support to all organisational functions regarding Quality in order to drive increased customer satisfaction and process improvement. The Quality and HSE
Coordinator also supports the organisation towards compliance with various Environmental, health and safety standards.
Degree in a Science related field.
At least three (3) years experience in the fields of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment.
A working experience with management systems e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22001, OHSAS 18001.
Technical skills
· Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems – ISO 9001
· Auditor in Occupational Health & Safety – OHSAS 18001
· Auditor in Environmental Management Systems – ISO 14001,
· Auditor in Food Safety management Systems – ISO 22001
· Risk analysis, Corrective Actions and Failure Mode effects analysis skills
· Statistical Process Control (SPC) skills and process approach to management
· Effective Leadership skills with motivational management style and reputation for building and retaining motivated project teams.
· 5-S work place organization skills Advanced Proficiency in applying the following computer skills is necessary:
- Intermediate skill in Data Base Management e.g. Microsoft access
- Advanced skill in Spread sheets e.g. Microsoft excel
- Advanced Presentation Programs e.g. Microsoft power point
- Advanced Microsoft Project
- Advanced Microsoft Visio Flow Charting
- Advanced Microsoft Word
