Key Responsibilities
• Providing strategic direction to the marketing team as well as managing the overall performance of the sales team.
• Coordinating the various sales and marketing strategies including E-shots as well as recommending effective strategies to achieve business objectives
• Planning, forecasting, monitoring and motivating the sales team
• Supervising the showroom to ensure products are well presented with codes and prices
• Accurately supervise the maintenance and updating of client database
• Collate relevant market information from websites/magazines/email
• Market intelligence – researching competitor information/identify changes in the market/new product requests/emerging trends and advise company accordingly
• Initiating new product ideas based on identified trends and gaps
• Public Relations – Creating articles about products which will be used as editorial material in print media
• Developing a performance based incentive system for the sales team
Qualifications/ Experience
• At least 6 years experience in the same industry.
• Diploma/ Degree in Marketing from a reputable institution
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Outstanding negotiation skills as well as ownership mentality
• Self initiative as well experience handling diverse ation on the subject line.
