Sales Manager Job. Adept Systems

Our Kenyan client is a leader in the manufacture and export of corporate promotional merchandise in Kenya. Through continuous innovation and creativity, they provide strategic partnerships to leading local and international organizations in enhancing corporate image and visibility of their clients’ brands. They are looking for a dynamic, driven passionate and customer-focused individual to manage and lead the sales function, and enhance market growth and profitability.

Responsibilities
Identifying new and emerging market opportunities in Kenya and the region convert them to commercial propositions for the company.
Increasing the Company’s market presence and penetration in Kenya and the region.
Training, organizing and driving the team to achieve company and individual targets by effectively monitoring their performance, motivating and guiding them.
Providing on-going relationship management to existing clients.
Identifying and qualifying new prospects through persistent and dynamic lead generation activities.?
Preparing monthly reports and annual sales budget by forecasting and analyzing the market trends.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in a business related field, preferably in marketing.
Minimum eight (8) years experience in Sales with at least 3 years in management.
Familiarity with operations of the Marketing, procurement and promotion originating functions within large organizations.
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiating and presentation skills.
Strong leadership capabilities, including empowering others, managing performance and creating a motivating environment.
Customer focused and works to maintain strong customer relationships.
Strong planning, organizing, prioritizing and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change and/or be flexible as business situation arise.
