Accountant Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintenance of books of accounts, ledgers and preparation of final accounts.

2. Preparation of monthly Trial Balances and Bank reconciliation.

3. Preparation of the staff payroll and salary payments.

4. Rendering monthly remittances of statutory deductions

5. Responsible for renewal of staff NHIF card

6. Responsible for submission of Income Tax Return

7. Preparation and dispatch of all invoices

8. Preparation of reports on operating results, rent, cash collections and annual subscriptions

9. Responsible for proper storage and custody of accounting documents.

10. Assisting in budget preparation.

Qualifications
? Should have at least a C.P.A (K)
? Bachelor?s degree in accounting or related field will be an added advantage
? Should have at least two years experience in a similar position.
. Computer literate with working knowledge of accounting packages such as Excel Spreadsheets and QuickBooks

Job Experience
? Excellent computer skills.
? Able to meet set deadlines and work long hours with minimal supervision.
