Ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling both third party personal injury claims and material damage claims. S/he should work with accuracy and attention to detail with the intention of being part of a team that works effectively to manage claims
Review of claims notification received from cedants and brokersMaintain proper records of all claims notification and follow up to logical conclusionKeep an audit trail of all reported claimsEnsure prompt processing of all approved claimsFollow up cash call refunds with cedants and brokersMonitor the development of the outstanding claims provisionPrepare progress reports on claims developmentCollection of claims supporting documentsManage the follow up and reconciliation of cash call credit refundsMinimum Educational (or other qualifications) requiredUniversity Degree in related field (insurance, risk)Professional Accounting qualification i.e. ACIIAt least three years experience within the insurance industry.Relevant work experience in a claims department of a reinsurance or insurance company is a must.IT proficiency- Computerized accounting system skills e.g., Orion, AIMS, Premium;Organization & Planning SkillsCommunication SkillsAnalytical/Research SkillsTime management skillsProblem SolvingTeam Building SkillsInterpersonal AbilitiesMulticultural SensitivityProblem-SolvingTo apply for this position send your CV to mycv@myjobseye.com quoting the position in the subject line and preferred location.
