Job Title: Front Office Receptionist
Reports to: Hotel Manager

Duty station: Fahari Hotel - Utawala Embakasi

Key task

Responsible for delivering friendly, efficient customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service, at all timesAssist in keeping the front office reception area clean and tidy, at all timesDeal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mailAdminister all reservations, cancellations and no-shows, in line with company policyKeep up to date with current promotions and room pricing, to provide information to guests, on request, while maximizing room sales’ opportunitiesFulfill all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safetyProvide sales reports and other reports, as required, for housekeepers and management on a daily basisBe responsible for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as first point of contact for guests and the emergency servicesJob specification of Front Office ReceptionistDiploma or a Certificate in front office  operations from Kenya Utalii College or equivalent2-3 years experience in hospitality industry; specialty in handling front office operations will be desirableCustomer care skillsExcellent verbal and written skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsPublic relations skillsNumeracy skillsSelf organisation skillsAttention to detailJob Title: Bar Man

Duties and Responsibilities

At the start of a bartending shift, it's important to make sure the bar is clean, wiped down and well-stocked.Most bars require bartenders to cut their own fruit used to garnish drinks.
