FMCG Company Key Account Manager Job in Kenya

Our client is in the FMCG Industry currently recruiting a Key Account Manager.

The Person will be responsible for achieving channel objectives, KPIs and targets at assigned key customers. 

She/he will be responsible for overall end-to-end sales processes in the assigned outlets, from the initial contact and understanding of the client’s needs to the closure on the product/service delivery. She/he is responsible for maintaining and growing their customer account within their assigned territory through relationship-based selling and exemplary customer service.

Roles and Responsibilities

Be responsible for overall account performance in the defined storeIdentify opportunities and anticipate competitive offers in the marketAssist in the product planning process by providing relevant customers’ insights, strategic thinking and leadership related to all aspects of the businessMeet or exceed store sales goals and increase overall brand awareness.Provide outstanding, excellent customer service; enhance customer relationships through relationship-based selling.Contribute and take an active role in all meetings and training sessions; share best practices and insights for overall growth and improvement of Key Account Division.Provide consistent, timely feedback and observations on competition, market and industry/lifestyle trends.Responsible for the maintenance of all sales samples, POS displays and selling collateral for educating and selling the complete product line.Exhibit strong communication skills and team-based approach with other departments; consistently follows up on requests.Work with HQ Teams including sales, marketing, product and finance to develop forecasts for wholesale sales within the designated stores, monitor performance against sales objectives, and update as needed.Bachelors degree in Sales & MarketingBCE driving licenseFive (5) years basic selling experience preferably in FMCG (multi-national), one of which must have been in key account handling with a high end chain of supermarkets.Merchandising experience will be an added advantageIf you feel you fit the above role ,please send your CV only quoting the job title on the email subject to jobs@alternatedoors.co.ke
