Our client, a leading regional Electrical Engineering Company dealing with Siemens products, with offices in Nairobi; Kampala and Dar‐es‐Salaam, wish to invite applications from suitable candidates for the following positions in our Kenya office:‐
Regional Sales Manager
Nature of Position: Regional Sales Manager
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to:-
- Direct and oversee a region’s sales function for products, services and projects
- Identify and develop the region’s new customers and explore new channels for distribution of products
- Direct and coordinate the region’s marketing functions / activities
- Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods and results
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors and distributors
- Oversee and coordinate activities of the region’s sales staff
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager
This position reports to the General Manager Kenya Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Bsc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing
- At least 5 years of proven sales / marketing experience in a technical field
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Dynamic, self-driven, focused, disciplined team player
- Experience in strategic planning and execution
- Experience in customer relationship building
- Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in planning marketing / sales strategies
- Driver’s licence
Technical Sales Representatives
Nature of Position: Technical Sales Representative
Responsibilities
- Receiving and attending to customer enquiries in a timely manner
- Preparation of offers and sales quotations
- Follow up on offers and quotations for order confirmation
- Maintaining of proper customer records
- Maintaining customer relations through regular updated by email and telephone
- Technical support to customers as required
- Other duties as assigned by Regional Sales Manager
This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Diploma in Sales and / or Marketing
- At least 3years of proven sales / marketing experience in a technical field
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Dynamic, self-driven, focused, disciplined and a team player
- Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in planning sales strategies
