Job Description
Nature of Position: Regional Sales Manager
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to:-
Direct and oversee a region’s sales function for products, services and projects
Identify and develop the region’s new customers and explore new channels for distribution of products
Direct and coordinate the region’s marketing functions / activities
Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods and results
Promote positive relations with partners, vendors and distributors
Oversee and coordinate activities of the region’s sales staff
Other duties as assigned by General Manager
This position reports to the General Manager Kenya
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Bsc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Diploma in Sales and Marketing
At least 5 years of proven sales / marketing experience in a technical field
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Dynamic, self-driven, focused, disciplined team player
Experience in strategic planning and execution
Experience in customer relationship building
Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in planning marketing / sales strategies
Driver’s licence
Nature of Position:
Technical Sales RepresentativeResponsibilities
Receiving and attending to customer enquiries in a timely manner
Preparation of offers and sales quotations
Follow up on offers and quotations for order confirmation
Maintaining of proper customer records
Maintaining customer relations through regular updated by email and telephone
Technical support to customers as required
Other duties as assigned by Regional Sales Manager
This position reports to the Regional Sales ManagerKnowledge and Skills Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Diploma in Sales and / or Marketing
At least 3years of proven sales / marketing experience in a technical field
