We would like to recruit a General Manager for our Central Production Unit. The jobholder will be responsible for overall coordination of Central Production Unit and its related business.
This includes all activities for smooth workflow while ensuring profitability, efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, quality and security of all resources within the premises.
Steers & Debonairs Pizza Job Responsibilities
In charge of all the operations at CPU and entire production facility ensuring efficiency and accuracy
Implement and execute quality production activities in compliance with overall company goals while driving continuos improvement in processes and facilities
Design, implement and monitor the qualiy control procedures, plan and method statements
Ensure that quality standards and right procedures related to health and safety are developed, implemented and executed on a daily basis and establishe to present a safe image and working environment
Oversee placing of timely purchase orders as per respective re-order levels and doing supplier order follow ups of the same to ensure that delivery is done as scheduled.
Supervise inventory management and control ensuring that there is adequate supply for the shops all the times
In charge of import of raw materials and equipment supplied from South Africa, China, and the US
In charge of export of finished products and equipment to East African restaurants within and outside our network of brands
Manage the performance of staff to ensure alignment with business needs
Recommend for recruitment, develop and manage the teams.
Carrying out/planning for scheduled internal and external quality/hygiene audits as need arises
Perform market analysis processes and approaches necessary in the development of long term sales and operational forecasts targeting sales and business development.
Support the company’s rapid expansion and support its growth in terms of additional locations, new brands, customers and restaurants.
Focus on bringing in new business to the Group, from the activities at the Central Production Unit
Steers & Debonairs Pizza Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree (Business or related field preferred)
Minimum 5-8 years of related professional industry experience
Must have a minimum of 3+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center
Sales and Business Development experience
Must be able to handle multiple duties in a fast paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, flexibility and attention to detail
