Action Africa Help Uganda: AAH-U, a non-profit making agency that implements health and development projects in Uganda, seeks to recruit dynamic, innovative development leaders for the following vacancies:
 

Job Title: Mechanical Training Instructor

(01 Position)

Location: Adjumani

Duties and Responsibilities

Delivery of Mechanical and Process Equipment Maintenance Training in accordance with published training schedule.

Conduct assessments to determine the competence of trainee’s and delegates.

Prepare trainee progress reports as required.

Ensure all assessments are valid and reliable.

Liaison with Managers, Training Coordinators to ensure all training activities are coordinated and conducted in accordance with agreed schedules

Conduct practical training to students and invite industry professionals to provide technical support in accordance with AAH Uganda Training guidelines.

 

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a diploma in Technical Teacher Education or Training Institution Management or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related qualification from a recognized university/ training institution.

At least 3 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas/ mechanical/ plant installation

Knowledge in the Maintenance of Pumps, Compressors and other Process Plant Equipment will be of added advantage.

Skills and Competencies

Proficient in Microsoft Office Application

Able to handle challenging tasks/assignments under pressure

Have a passion for learning and training/teaching

Dedicated, confident, able to multi-task, independent, creative

Good communication, interpersonal, presentation & negotiation skills

Able to work long/ flexible hours when required
