The Kenya School of Law is a Postgraduate Training Institution run under the auspices of the Kenya School of Law Act No. 26 of 2012 of the Laws of Kenya.

The core mandate of the School is inter alia ttrain for legal professional development and in particular to train lawyers for entry into the legal professional as Advocates of the High Court of Kenya. The core function of the School as currently constituted includes provision of the following functions:-

Advocates Training Programme & Par-legal Studies

Continuing Professional Development, Projects & Legal Research

In order to effectively meet these expanded functions the School wishes to recruit full timehigh calibre personnel who will join the existing strong team of staff to help it realize its vision of being “A preferred
centre of Excellence in professional legal training in the East African Region and beyond”

Specifically we seek to recruit:-

Senior Accountant Job Overall Purpose

To assist the Finance Manager in giving strategic direction to the finance function of the School by way of introducing new financial procedures while strengthening existing ones.

The incumbent will also assist in giving accurate periodic budgets and reports that reflect the true financial position of the School.
Requirements for Accountant Jobs in Kenya

The successful candidate will:

Bachelors of Commerce, Economy, Business Management

Possess a relevant masters degree and bea holder of CPA (K);

Have served for a minimum of 5 years, 3 of which should be in a management position;

Ability and experience in supervising staff;

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Have good Information Communication Technology skills;

Have good interpersonal skills.

Remuneration Package:
KSL 5
Basic Salary: 89,600 x 4,480 to 94,080 x 4,480 to 98,560 x 4,480 to 103,040 x 4,480 to 107,520 x 4,480 to 112,000 x 4,480 to 116,480 x 4,480 to 120,960 x 4,480 to 125,440 x 4,480 to 129,920 per month
House Allowance: 40,000
Commuter Allowance: 8,000
