The Kenya School of Law is a Postgraduate Training Institution run under the auspices of the Kenya School of Law Act No. 26 of 2012 of the Laws of Kenya.

The core mandate of the School is inter alia ttrain for legal professional development and in particular to train lawyers for entry into the legal professional as Advocates of the High Court of Kenya. The core function of the School as currently constituted includes provision of the following functions:-

Advocates Training Programme & Par-legal Studies

Continuing Professional Development, Projects & Legal Research

In order to effectively meet these expanded functions the School wishes to recruit full timehigh calibre personnel who will join the existing strong team of staff to help it realize its vision of being “A preferred
centre of Excellence in professional legal training in the East African Region and beyond”

Specifically we seek to recruit:-

Assistant Procurement Job Overall Purpose

Reporting to the Procurement Officerthe incumbent will be responsible for supporting the procurement function in ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to and that controls are effective.

Person Specification

Requirements for Procurement Jobs in Kenya

The successful candidate will:

Possess a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management;

Have at least 3 years relevant working experience in a busy procurement environment;

Must have at least CIPS level 4;

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Have good Information Communication Technology skills;

Have good interpersonal skills;

Be a member of KISM;

A full diploma in supply chain management will be an added advantage.

Remuneration Package:
KSL 7
Basic Salary: KES
40,250 x 2,012.50 to 42,262.50 x 2,012.50 to 44,275 x 2,012.50 to 46,287.50 x 2,012.50 to 48,300 x 2,012.50 to 50,312.50 x 2,012.50 to 52,325 x 2,012.50 to 54,337.50 x 2,012.50 to 56,350 x 2,012.50 to
58,362.50 per month
House Allowance: 20,000
Commuter Allowance: 6,000
