Management Accountant
The overall role of the Management Accountant will be to take over reporting functions within Finance teams across all Kenya Ventures
Job Description
The Management Accountant reports to the Head of Finance for Africa Internet Group Kenya:
Financial Planning and analysis
Prepare, develop and analyze key financial information to ensure management makes well-informed decisions
Provide a support to management colleagues on all aspects of finance.
Analyze the performance of the business and advice on how to prevent problems, adapt to changing circumstances and improve value
Preparing periodic financial statements, i.e. P&L, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
Ensure spending is kept in line with the budget
Advising on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions
Analyzing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts
Qualification & Skills
Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance from a reputable institution
ACCA / CPA qualification
At least 3 years progressive experience preferably in the same capacity.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills
Advanced excel and Accounting systems knowledge
Strong Financial reporting experience
Good experience and background in auditing
Innovative and creative thinker in problem solving
Strong technical skills in Accounting
Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines and prioritize tasks.
