Financial Accountant

Location: Nairobi

Our Client is the world’s leading specialist flooring company with manufacturing plants across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa. They are seeking to recruit a Financial Accountant.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain financial analysis and reporting activities for organization.

Preparing monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts

Standard costing and budgetary control

Cash flow reporting and foreign exchange

Analytical and contribution analysis reporting

Project reporting and advising senior management on all financial aspects of the business

Support the annual financial audit processes through the preparation of standard reports as well as other custom reports as requested.

Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues.

Skills & Abilities:

Minimum of a Degree in Accounting/Finance.

3- 5 years working experience.

Possess strong project management skills/experience.

Ability to use spreadsheets to analyze data and spot trends.

Should be confident, self-motivated, a strategic thinker and driven to succeed.
