Finance & Administration Officer Job Vacancies in Nairobi, Kenya
Our client a growing IT company is seeking to recruit a Finance & Administration officer to be based at their Nairobi office.
Job Summary
To ensure smooth running of finance and administration function in the office
Finance & Admin Officer Job Duties and responsibilities
Preparing payroll and personnel administration.
Maintaining cash records.
Preparing financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements.
Liaising with suppliers and negotiating on behalf of the company.
Process supplier invoices and ensuring payments are done on time.
Invoicing
Ensure that all statutory deductions and requirements are met.
Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
Assist with preparation of the budget.
Maintain cash controls.
Book keeping
Maintaining computerized accounting system.
Qualifications
CPA 1 0r 2, from a recognized Institution
Diploma in Business Administration.
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Skills Required.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
Open to direction and Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.
Ability to look at situations from several points of view.
Working conditions
This position will sometimes require work outside the office environment.
Criminal Record Check is required.
Salary Kshs 30,000.00
