Technician-Home Appliances Job In Nairobi (Rider)
Our client a home appliances company in EA, is seeking to recruit a Motorcycle Technician services and repairs (HA) appliances as assigned by the service team following all established standards and procedures.
Technician Job Responsibilities
Confers with customers, dealers, CIC team to obtain descriptions of appliance problems and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements from respective branches and customers.
Diagnoses issues for HA appliances brought to the service center.
Performs basic and minor repairs as required
Communicates with the technical supervisor if additional work is needed on an appliance or if repairs will not be completed on time so that customers can be informed
Tests repaired appliances to meet quality check performance specifications
Ensures that he conducts himself in a professional manner and upholds these in regard to cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition and constantly maintains high-quality service
He inspects, maintains, diagnoses and performs repairs and service both in the service center and out in the field.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications For Technician Jobs In Kenya
Must have a valid motorcycle license and insurance
Diploma in Electrical engineering with 2 years working experience in a Home Appliances setup.
Fluent English and Kiswahili language skills to effectively communicate with others
Excellent interpersonal skills, great understanding of customer service
Good understanding of relevant regulations (traffic, health & safety)
Knowledge and practice of MOT guidelines.
In addition, ability to obtain and maintain certifications required by the manufacturers through in-house training
Can work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, when required
