Job Title: General Manager – Telecom Company

Our Client is a telecom company that intends to deploy a public Wi-Fi Service with the aim of providing affordable access to content and the Internet to low income members of society.
They seek to hire a General Manager who will manage the day to day business of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Set targets for the direct reports and their teams; track progress, monitor, evaluate and adjust where necessary
Review team output, align where needed
Identify learning requirements within team and act upon those
Assist in enabling and empowering the team to get the work done
Ensure compliance with established standard policies and procedures
Help set up and improve workflow processes when and where needed
Manage external vendors and agency partners as needed
Responsible for realizing the KPIs of the company
Support the director and partners with the rest of the team to develop and realize the strategy for the company
Act as liaison between the local team (technology, sales and operations, customer care) and the executive leadership team in the UK
Manage the direct reports; act as first level of escalation. Assist in solving issues on a process or priority level
Champion the company brand identity and culture
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
Over 10 years experience in marketing and product management roles
Telephony and/or ISP experience is a must
International experience is a plus
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office
Excellent (project) management and organizational skills
Team leader
