Internship Opportunity at the YWCA of Kenya, Nairobi

The Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) in Kenya is looking for interns with passion, ambition, and a desire to put their skills into practice in the areas below.

In return, we will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of how a non-profit functions.

You will receive support, mentorship, be part of a dynamic departmental team, attend appropriate departmental meetings, and other activities that will be enhancing our team capacity to empower young women and girls’

Membership and Social Media Interns

(2 Positions)

Required Skills:

Interest in 1 or more of the following areas:

Communications

Media Relations/Public Relations

Advocacy / Programmes

Public Policy / Government Relations

Video / Photo editing / Social Media

Social Sciences

Required Experience

Excellent writing skills

Outgoing, keen to detail

Communications, Public Relations, or Programmes coursework or volunteer

Have completed your undergraduate degree

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Ages between 25-28 years
