Vacancy: Human Resource Manager
Trans Mara Sugar Company Limited, a leading manufacturer of Sugar with offices in Kilgoris, Trans Mara Sub-county in Narok County has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled & resourceful, candidate to fill the above position.
Main Purpose of the Job: HR manager will be responsible for managing the human resource function to ensure strategic alignment of the Human Resource Capital with the goals of the business.
This will be achieved by performing among others, the following key functions:
Developing, implementing and recommending employees remuneration and benefit schemes.
Formulating, implementing review of HR strategies, practices and procedures in line with business objectives and legal obligations.
Provide management with sound guidance on staffing issues.
Coordinating effective recruitment, training, induction, placement of staff.
Coordinating and driving the performance management programme that ensure appropriate KPI’s and performance management discussion to develop employee in their jobs.
Developing and implementing appropriate training plans and manpower development policies, and review and evaluate these to assess their effectiveness.
Provide guidance and support to management on all industrial relations, employee welfare and handling. staff housing matters.
Maintaining an accurate human resource data base.
Minimum Qualifications
University degree in HR, social sciences or equivalent qualification.
Post graduate diploma in HR from a recognized institution.
At least 5 years’ experience in HR function in the same capacity, preferably a FMCG or in a manufacturing industry.
A member of the institute of HR of Kenya or any other equivalent professional body.
Computer literacy with modern office solutions skills.
Good interpersonal, communication, assertive counseling and influencing skills.
Sound knowledge of Kenyan labor law.
