Chemonics International, a U.S.- based international development consulting firm, seeks a Technical Lead for the USAID / Kenya and East Africa Regional Intergovernmental Organization (RIGO) System Strengthening program.
The program will provide organizational assistance to the East African Community (EAC), the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), and selected sub-entities and selected sub-entities.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in organizational capacity development or a related field required
- Minimum 7 years of relevant senior-level professional experience required, with at least 5 years of experience in sub-Saharan Africa. East African experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in managing and supervising a technical team working on organizational capacity development activities
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively with intergovernmental or government representatives and other stakeholders, particularly at the regional level
- Experience with donor-funded development projects of a similar scale and scope, USAID preferred
- Knowledge and experience in training and facilitation
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Experience in human and institutional capacity development (HICD) preferred
- Professional level of oral and written fluency in the English language required
