Position: Asset Care Manager

Period Purposed: Three months
Salary Range: $3000 - $5000 (Based on Experience)
General Purpose: The Asset Care Manager will focus on achieving targets and also meeting and exceeding required standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and controlling all activities within a production site including meeting production targets, quality, environmental, maintenance, health & safety and costs.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Planning, recruiting, organizing, managing and developing key resources in order to drive and maintain team performance through established maintenance system
- Promote all aspects of health and safety in the workplace, ensuring to monitor adherence to all policies
- Plan, coordinate, direct and oversee the scheduled and emergency installation, maintenance repair and service of machinery
- Ensure all equipment and systems are maintained to a high standard so as not to compromise production and quality standards
- Deliver operational and strategic to improve overall business and site performance
- Develop site budget, control spending and improve costs without impacting the overall business performance
- Provide technical assistance to staff through formal training
- Research and monitor technical developments in equipment, supplies and materials inspect operations and projects to ensure conformance with standards and specifications Comply with environment occupational, health & safety processes
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Bachelor in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering from a reputed University. MBA will be an added advantage
- At least 8 years post qualification experience preferably in FMCG with proven track record of excellent performance,
- A team player with good people management skills together with communication and presentation skills
- Must be results orientated with proven record of achievement
- Exceptional technical competence with the ability to analyze issues and solve problems quickly and effectively
- Demonstrated capability in maintenance, planning and execution
