Our client is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced applicant to fill the following position:

Club Manager

On a routine basis, the candidate as the Team Leader has a key role to oversee the following  

 

Main job tasks and Responsibilities

• Ensure the right staffing levels


• Delegation to Departmental Heads


• Tackling matters arising in departments/ problem solving techniques


• Leading sales drive


• Ensure security of cash and other company property


• Ensure facility is clean and safe


• Direct involvement in marketing of the business both internally and externally


• Direct corporate communication


• Facilitate prompt maintenance on breakdowns within the facility


• Managing staff


• Periodically passing through kitchen and stores to check on operational processes


• Liaison with departments to initiate training for better skills and improvement


• Liaison with the stores/ purchasing department for prompt and adequate supplies


• Ensure the bars are stocked adequately


• Conduct regular checks to eliminate expired goods


• Liaison with Directors to ensure total statutory compliance and licencing


• Liaison with Djs and Directors on entertainment/ events


• General security of the premises in conjunction with Security Head


• Directors’ briefs and reports.

Education and Experience

• A Degree/Diploma in Business Management / Hotel management


• Minimum of 4 years in the same field


• Knowledge of food and beverage production is a must
