Chemonics International, a U.S.- based international development consulting firm, seeks a Communications and Reporting Officer for the USAID / Kenya and East Africa Regional Intergovernmental Organization (RIGO) System Strengthening program.
The program will provide organizational assistance to the East African Community (EAC), the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), and selected sub-entities and selected sub-entities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in managing communications and external relations required
- Demonstrated experience promoting program activities and results through project success stories, videos, photos, and other media platforms in compliance with project communications strategy and donor branding requirements
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with technical staff and build capacity in communications and reporting
- Experience with donor-funded development projects of a similar scale and scope, USAID preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Professional level of oral and written fluency in the English language required
