Job reports to: Health & Safety Officer

Job Supervises: Employees

Job Purpose: Full time supervision of occupational safety, health and environmental issues to achieve total compliance and high standards of HSE best practices

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Supervision of housekeeping in all departments and ensuring every item is in its rightful place and all walkways free of any obstruction


• Training of employees on Safe Work Procedures and supervising the implementation of the same


• Planning and facilitating departmental tool box talks meetings on various HSE topics


• Enforcing total compliance on the use of PPEs


• Conducting EHS awareness campaigns, hygiene surveillance and suggesting improvements


• Ensuring the Safe Operating Procedures available are followed by the workers


• Coordinating the operations of departmental first aid stations and ensuring the first aid boxes are appropriately stocked and registers up to date


• Any other duty as assigned by the management

Job Specification

Academic

• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety / Environmental Science/ Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering/ Environmental Health

Qualification / Skills

• Short Course Trainings in First Aid, Fire Safety, Occupational Health and Safety


• 5 Year Experience as EHS Supervisor in Manufacturing Industry

Other Requirements

• Competent in supervisory and Enforcement skills


• Great communication and training skills
