ENGINEER II (WATER) – SIX (6) POSITIONS – VACANCY NO.03/2022/01
Basic Salary Scale: Kshs. 38,270 – Kshs. 51,170 p.m. (Job Group ‘K’)
Allowances as per SRC Circulars attached to the position. Terms of Employment: Permanent and Pensionable.
For appointments to this grade, a candidate must: –
- Be a Kenyan Citizen;
- Be in possession of Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Bachelor of Engineering (Water) or Equivalent from a recognized institution;
- Be registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer;
- Have at least 1-year of experience in related fields;
- Have the ability to use of survey equipment such as GPS, Theodolite, Total Station/Real time kinematic and training in various engineering design softwares will be an added advantage; and
- Be proficient in computer
Duties and Responsibilities
An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out feasibility studies;
- Planning and designing water supply and sewerage infrastructures; and
- Carrying out research activities in various aspects of water, sewerage and hydraulic systems.
