Water Engineer Job, Engineering Kenyan Job Vacancies,

ENGINEER II (WATER) – SIX (6) POSITIONS – VACANCY NO.03/2022/01                 

Basic Salary Scale: Kshs. 38,270 – Kshs. 51,170 p.m.          (Job Group ‘K’)

Allowances as per SRC Circulars attached to the position. Terms of Employment: Permanent and Pensionable.

For appointments to this grade, a candidate must: –

• Be a Kenyan Citizen;


• Be in possession of Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Bachelor of Engineering (Water) or Equivalent from a recognized institution;


• Be registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer;


• Have at least 1-year of experience in related fields;


• Have the ability to use of survey equipment such as GPS, Theodolite, Total Station/Real time kinematic and training in various engineering design softwares will be an added advantage; and


• Be proficient in computer

Duties and Responsibilities

An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out feasibility studies;


• Planning and designing water supply and sewerage infrastructures; and


• Carrying out research activities in various aspects of water, sewerage and hydraulic systems.
