Job Summary
To provide individual contribution as a project manager charged with the end-to-end delivery of Digital (Wholesale, Public, Corporate and SME) solutions for defined segments. Responsible for Overseeing the conceptualization, planning, development and implementation of assigned segment client’s projects within schedule, cost and quality and in alignment with Telkom Kenya project governance processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the assigned projects within the agreed customer contractual agreement.
- Order and manage the required technical project stock within the financial budget limits of the assigned projects
- Provide feedback concerning financial variances on assigned project budgets and project inventory
- Contribute to the cost saving initiatives of the company
- Ensure correct billing against agreed customer contractual agreement for the assigned projects
- Ensure customer satisfaction within the agreed implementation schedule and project billing initiated accordingly
- Represent the company at customer project implementation steering committees
- Ensure the resolution of customer and internal project issues
- Provide regular project progress to the customer
- Lead, coordinate and monitor projects tasks up to billing and ensure proper hand over to post-sales management
- Track project progress and provide management reporting
- Ensure the quality of project management execution and provide guidance on continuous improvement of project processes
- Coordinate the stakeholders’ involvement across the project lifecycle
- Ensure the compliance to policies and procedures to support governance and risk management
- Ensure availability of required stock and provide projections of stock levels to the Sales Enablement team
- Provide information concerning own training needs and support training interventions
- Take responsibility for self-development through self-study, identification of learning opportunities
- Embark on a continuous learning drive to stay abreast with best practice in Telecoms and related industries
- Ensure a thorough understanding of the Telkom products and services, policies and procedures to ensure a consistent delivery of sales and sales message to all customers
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Work experience: 3 years
Language skills: English
