Qualifications

For appointment to this
Grade, a candidate must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines:
  Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or any other
  relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;


• Have Passed Certified Public Accountant (K);


• Proficiency in computer applications; and


• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the
  Constitution.

Duties and
Responsibilities

• Participating in preparing engagement and audit work plans;


• Vouching transactions in audit investigation and verification
  assignment;


• Executing audit programmes and plans as assigned;


• Collecting audit evidence on major issues and preparing audit
  reports on assigned areas;


• Reviewing internal control systems in operation;


• Recording proceedings of exit and entry meetings; and


• Preparing and maintaining audit files and working papers
