PDM (Kenya) Limited is a property development and management company, with interests across East Africa.
The company is seeking to fill a vacant position of Regional Finance Manager (RFM), based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the RFM will be responsible for overseeing the company’s finance operations across the region. This role is amongst the most senior management positions in the company.
The incumbent will be expected to contribute to the overall strategic development of the company, working together with other members of the management team.
Specific responsibilities will include:-
lead in preparation of the company’s business plans and annual budgetspreparation of management accounts and financial reportsmanagement of the company’s treasury and tax matterspreparation of financial models for proposed projectsensuring existence of and adherence to strong internal control systemspreparation of statutory accounts and liaison with statutory auditorsdeveloping and leading a strong team of professional staff in the finance departmentBe a degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management or Economics, from a recognised University. (a post graduate qualification, e.g. MBA, will be an added advantage)Be a registered member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) of at least five years standingHave at least eight years experience in a busy commercial environment, of which at least three will be at senior management level with overall responsibility for the finance function in a medium to large organisationHave excellent organisational, interpersonal and analytic skills with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels and a high degree of integrityBe a team playerFor confidential consideration, please send your detailed curriculum vitae by Friday, September 16, 2011 to:
