Farm General Manager

Our client has a passion for supplying quality fresh produce to the UK top major retailers. They are seeking a General Manager to join their establishment in Kenya. Total farmed area by the company over several sites including outgrowers is approx 2000 acres. The main site is 700acres of which 400acres is irrigation.

This role will be reporting to the Managing Director. With previous experience in a similar environment, your main areas of accountability will cover the day to day running of the business with emphasis on farming, production, planning, recruitment, H&S. The role will have 4-5 key headline reports.

We are looking for a highly versatile and practical hands on manager with an eye for detail and a good understanding of a dynamic and challenging environment. Strong leadership and team building skills combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills are key.
